In the November/December 2005 issue of Shooting Sportsman magazine, title Fowl Foolers by Jamus Driscoll on page 84. The author introduces many new decoys and their features made by various companies, our company's Landin' Duck was on the list. The part that describes our decoy are as follows:
Designed to hover above our rig, the OpenZone Landin' Duck's flapping wings give the impression of a bird setting down. The flapping action is controlled from a distance - as far away as 200 feet - via a wireless remote. The Landin' Duck includes a decoy body with mechanical assembly and motor, one pair of wings, a transmitter (battery included) and receiver, a 12-volt rechargeable battery, a 110-volt AC/12-volt DC battery charger, a 4' pole and a carrying case. A hunting and fishing magazine in Quebec, Canada named Chasse & Peshe Adventure which had introduced our Flapp'n Goose to their readers. The issue Volume 13 No. 4 Hiver 2005, section "Nouveautes Pour Chasseurs" in page 114. Here is the article in French:
